Unlike other travel companies, we don't offer low quality carbon offset programs as an afterthought — we take proactive steps to ensure that every journey we offer has a measurable, positive environmental impact.
Contrary to other providers, we do not claim to be completely carbon-neutral or net zero. We acknowledge that the impact of travel, at this stage, cannot be completely mitigated.
Carbon offsets are far from perfect, in fact, there has been significant evidence that many providers of carbon offsetting projects have little impact in reducing or mitigating the emissions produced from flyng. For example, it has been found that ‘avoided deforestation’ projects, which make up 1 in 5 of all carbon credits in Australia, do not represent any change at all!

Partnering with local environmental organisations to fund land restoration: We will support the planting of new native trees in new biodiverse forests to capture these emissions. These forests are created in previously empty Australian landscapes and are legally protected to ensure they continue to exist well into the future. They are additional forests to increase emissions reductions.
Direct Land and Habitat Conservation: We aim to invest directly in land conservation and habitat restoration efforts. This includes the creation of projects aimed at preserving biodiversity, reducing pollution, and supporting renewable energy initiatives.
